I-95, that is interesting. Thanks!

A gun won't help you much in this situation. They find people alone, and kill them with the first shot, no warning. There's no chance to shoot back.

Well they said they had a description and wouldn't give it out. That's different from, "here's the descript, but it's not verified" and quite different from a profile. Whoever is doing this isn't mad, as in angry, or flipped out, as in, "can't take it anymore", they've got a goal and an agenda to follow. They're shooting simple common folks for effect, not because they have anything against them in particular.
They're either jihadists, or left wing authoritarian. Both are jihadists in my mind, since they're trying to force some kind of wacky conjoured up beliefs. If they had a description, they should give it and comment on the circumstances and nature of the source. That way, folks could keep an eye out for htem. Not everyone is as dumb and incompetent as they suggest.

I'm voting for option #1. After 9-11-01, there were a ton of threads here at FR (the sources were local newspapers) discussing the sudden spike in gun purchases and CCW permit requests.
To: spunkets
I agree with you....this is planned, by "sane, rational" minds, if you can call murder that.

All of the bad guys prefer unarmed victims. Sadly the liberals, do not get it.
Get your fire arms and training NOW.
Maybe this just may be comming to a shopping center near us.

Anyone want to guess at the political impact of these shootings? Anybody want to comment on how this always seems to happen with a gun control freak is either running for election,or pushing a gun control law? Remember the nutcase who shot up the White House with a SKS when the so-called Assault Weapons Ban was being debated? What ever happened to him? Is he still in jail?

I find it hard to believe that the description of the vehicle is still accurate. Perhaps they changed from the van or they were never in the van to begin with.

They're sane and rational, but the principles and motivations in their mental constructions are pure evil.

AS INDICATED EARLIER IN THIS THREAD WITH LINK, THIS TOPIC IS ALREADY BEING DISCUSSED AT MUCH GREATER LENGTH IN ANOTHER THREAD __ WHERE A FREEPER'S WIFE WAS AT THE STORE WHEN IT HAPPENED TOO. MAY WANT TO CHECK OUT THAT THREAD INSTEAD OF STARTING A NEW ONE HERE.
To: JimSEA
i don't believe the vehicle description ever was accurate or, at the least, relevant.

"Perhaps they changed from the van or they were never in the van to begin with."Yep. If not, they may have even put orange stickers in the window to remain untouched. They're probably radio equipped.

nothing to see here folks....
al quaida has not been successful in recruiting REAL americans for their terror acts....
move along.
Oh, and there was no "middle eastern" connection with mcvey and oklahoma city either.
AND vera katz, mayorette-dominatrixy of portland oregon, hired one of those al quaida terrorists to work in her interm program... By now, that "intern" has no doubt handed off to key terror operatives all the data I imagine he mined regarding our infrastructure in the city.
Way to go vera! We have terrorists sympathizers and apologists, in elected office... mcdermitt, bonior and vera katz... anybody doubt that kitzhaber is one of "THEM" too... after all he is a member of the party of terrorists.
the Democrats...
God help us.

. . .indeed. . .in the meantime. . .
. . .and yes, agree, this is cold, calculating and no doubt, with sharpshooter skills.

Are you kidding? This kind of stuff has actually happened more often than you would think... in the post-911 era, though, it's getting more attention...

"Why in the world wouldn't police release a description of a suspect in so many murders? It doesn't make sense."
["Authorities are said to have a description of the shooters but are not releasing it. They've reviewed video tapes from security cameras at some of the businesses where the shootings took place."]This is from report by Paul Sperry at World Net Daily. . .
. . .and I don't get it either. . .

Michael's sit's right off of I-95, the major N/S interstate. The store also sits in a mall parking lot. If a truck was parked on 95 in the breakdown lane, could a sniper see the lady loading her packages in the parking lot at the front of the store?

Do I have it right........Maryland has something called the Rocket Docket, which is why they brought Taliban Johnny to that jurisdiction.

Depends... if they are using good equipment, and have the necessary skills, why not?

Wouldn't this provide a good camouflage in plain sight, elevated blind?
http://www.isuzucv.com/accessories/airdeflector.html
All the better to shoot across 5 or 6 lanes of traffic, and hit standing targets? Or park on a frontage road in front of a shopping mall... take one shot and then drive off, as everyone inside the parking lot is looking around for someone with a gun or a rifle. And all without having to modify the body of the truck in a manner that would raise suspicion.
