yes, they were, and neighborhoods as tight as a drum. We had that "I might have a problem with my neighbor, but don't any OUTSIDERS come in here with a problem with my neighbor or WE'LL ALL come down on (whomever)" LOL....then the PC crowd came in and really messed things up in the mid '70's - early '80's....shame (**sigh**)

Well...it's been a long day and we're having a severe windstorm up here...so I'm gonna log off, relax with a brew and then toddle off to bed.
