Letitring lost her old friend back in December. Broke her heart. It was a big, black and mean Chow. Lot better disposition tho than this border collie she's got now. At least wid that Chow you could see it comin, knew you were gonna lose a body part. This Collie is loud and bossy. It's a girl, got lots of energy and is a real pest.
Yep, Chows do tend to get mean. My ex-husband's family used to raise border collies...and I believe you're being kind when you say Letitring's collie is "energetic", LOL.
Conan was was a Black Lab/Malamute cross. I guess he looked more like a lab than a Malamute...at least until you looked into his face, and if you ignored the gray mottled legs...and ignored his hair. He had one ear that flopped like a labs, and one that only stood halfway up, because BOTH ears were too big. Sometimes, when he was really excited he could stand them both all the way up...he looked like a bat with those big, black ears, LOL.
