If SCOTUS won't touch it, then who protects the public from bought-and-paid-for justice? The Lone Ranger. And he's dead.
To: vannrox
If Severn is right, an awful lot of NJ voters are going to be awfully p****d off at Dems in future years, like when Corzine and McGreedy come up for reelection.

Forrester should challenge him to a LOT of debates. Starting Thursday night! Old people need sleep.......LOL.

VOTES IN DEMOCRAT PRIMARY FOR TORRICELLI: 190,000+
VOTES FOR FRANK LAUTENBERG: 0
Does the Democrat Party machine care? Nope. Congratulations, NJ Democrat rank and file--your choice was just negated by McSleazy and Dash-hole.
To: Peach
While I certainly hope and think Forrester can win, there's a bigger principle at stake. The rule of law and a country of free elections.I agree. This is a horrible precedent and where will it stop? It's anarchy!

I am SURE there is some polling agency already polling Forrester vs. Lautenberger. I am MOST interested in seeing those polls.
Also....I would hope the GOP Senate Committee will dump TONS of money and support into this race. OVer and above what they had planned to alread.

As outrageous as this decision was, it comes as no surprise given the "progressive" judges on the New Jersey Supreme Court. Unlike Florida, however, a majority of the justices were appointed by RINO Governor Whitman. So what is the point of electing a Republican Governor in a State like New Jersey when you get judges like these???

Just remember the Rolling Stones, "You Can't always get what you want, sometimes you get what you need". Let's hope the corrupt democrats (and their allies on this "court") feel the same way after election day.

We also need to start drumming that the military can not be disenfranchised - they will have to take every received vote, and send those people another ballot and allow them to revote - nothing else will be acceptable.
They pulled such a hissy in Florida over the "uncounted" - make them show they want votes counted. Also - the supreme court just said it is more important for voters to have choices - that means the ones voting in the first election too. If not - they should file a lawsuit. I am totally disgusted.

In the end, might this not be a good thing? It stinks to high heaven and anyone can see thatWe felt the same way durin the 2000 debacle and the Clinton BS. The rats came out smellin like a rose. What makes you think they won't do the same here. It's the every vote must be counted, it's for the children, that's the american way..............etc,etc,etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's time to bump! and Boogie!

If voters want Lautenberg, let them write in his name.
Other Democrat voters went to the Democratic primary to select their candidate to run for the office. Just because their candidate has withdrawn does not permit the RAT party to decree who has the best shot at proving to be a candidate of substance.
This is not the democratic way. I am a Republican but I vote democratically along with everyone else.
Point this hypocrisy of the "Democrats" appointing their candidates after the primary. Bad ruling. It cannot stand. It sets very dangerous precedent.

They can start with replacing Fisher with Schweikert in the PA governor's race. For an encore, they can replace Simon with Riordan in CA.

What Rats did and what Rats do cannot ever be compared.

They were just going through the motions today..... And they couldn't even make a show of deliberating.
Don't get mad -- Get the Senate!!!Let's all send $25 to the National Republican Senatorial Committee via www.nrsc.org.
I've only given to a candidate once and that was about 12 years ago. I'm giving again today!
