Why doesn't Congress expell the Baghdad 3?

Posted on 10/02/2002 12:21:22 PM PDT by adam stevens

Why don't some of the honorable members of Congress try to expell Mcdermont, Bonior, and Thompson like they did to Trafficant. It would be a good way to show that Congress is strong and will not tolerate seditious activities.

There would be nothing worng with it.
You ask why they don't.
Well, overall, most of Congress: Isn't honorable.
Shows no signs of strength. Could care less about seditious activities by other members.

I'm afraid that many people are too stupid and willfully ignorant and therefore, their minds will not be changed.

If most of Congress understood what "seditious" means, perhaps they might take appropriate action. However, it seems for many of them, taking that oath of office blocks up their vocabulary on crimes against the state.

My goal is to provide information on how their strategies shift and how to defeat them.

The 'radical' left doesn't shift strategies...constituency baiting is a tactic they use to elect more of their kind. Strategy doesn't enter their minds. Their goal is to dominate political and social thought and micromanage lives.

They don't see their tactics prohibit a strategy formulation to achieve that goal. That is the good news.

The bad news is that the 'radical' left, just like the 'radical' right consume far too much air time and blur the very real questions that divide us.

I am what is known as a tired old Liberal Democrat who believes we have an obligation to care for those who are in need, for whatever reason. Part of caring for the needy is a responsibility to guard against foreign and domestic terror. My primary objective would be to convince the public that dropping a dime on Oh Be 'L should not stand as an excuse to stop coddling the various Mafia type organizations in this country which continue to kill more and steal more from our national purpose than Sadaam and OBL combined.

That said, why ever in the world would you vote for Clinton once, let alone twice. His behavior before he was elected should have bothered everyone, Dem and Pub both. His escape from justice paved the way for many of the manicured moguls to lie, cheat and steal. His Injustice Department and the corrupted FBI made it easy.

If you voted for Clinton, you have reason to moan...but you need to take some responsibility yourself...and stop trying to pass the buck onto some lunatics on the left and right.

You voted for him; I didn't ever.

Bottom line? Me good. You? Need new priorities.
