3:00 AM report out of New Orleans (channel -8- Fox) said the storm is now moving north west instead of north-north west. They put it going in a little west of New Iberia.

Unless this thing starts moving straight north pretty soon, it may go a lot west of New Iberia. NOT good...

yep..as I said several hundred posts ago..I think it will go west of New Iberia...maybe in the abbeville area or even west of there unless it goes 360 soon..this may be great because the area between Layfeyette abd lake charles is not that populated

This new projected landfall is probably hardest on Delcambre, Erath, and Abbeville. We are somewhat protected by Avery Island (over 200' elev.) while they aren't.
