One of the justices just said that if the candidate had died then we would have to change the ballots since the voters would not have a choice.

ummm..........????? Didn't we have just the opposite arguement two years ago and currently in Hawai?

Yep. In fact, there's an awful lot of speculation that they delayed taking Mink off life support until the day after the deadline primarily in order to keep her name ON the ballot.

I think Justices live in another world than we do otherwise they would have heard about the Missouri Carnahan fiasco and what is going on in Hawaii.

You can't take dead people off the ballot if the time has passed it's the law in these cases.
