Concluded with that cursed phrase, RULE OF LAW. I could hear the justices muttering "dam*, she got it on the record." LOL!

Wouldn't you have wanted her to sit down and shut up if you were trying to ramrod for the democratic party??
To: twyn1
R3prestents the Conservative Party
To: blackdog
The Democrat Dead Voter constituancy has gained enough political clout that they can now field their own candidates, (e.g., Carnahan, Mink).

No, they didn't. They knew that if they did, she'd nail them. This is very depressing. In the little I've heard, it sounds like the Dem fix is in.

>She just said the dems "flagrantly" flaunt election law. YES!
If she's a lawyer, I hope she said flagrantly flout.
To: twyn1
I think this guy just screwed up by conceding there may be circumstances where the 51 day limit can be changed. He is saying it can't be done on these facts, but I think he shouldn't have conceded that point.

Good, I believe federal law mandates the election date. They're not talking about changing the election date. They're talking about changing the certification date, which is not a function of federal law.

First words I heard out of his mouth was: This is about retaking the Senate, er, retaining the Senate...

actually, according to the one of the depositions during the impeachment scandals (Lewinsky perhaps?), his "thing" is about the size of a roll of quarters.

Excellent point! He isn't unwilling to serve, he is unwilling to lose, as was stated in someone's earlier post!

There is a deadline for absolute reasons. In Florida, Dems threw out the military ballots BECAUSE THEY CAME IN PAST THE DEADLINE. The Clinton administration mailed them too late!
To: jackbill
It's like the Menendez brothers killing their parents and then asking the court for mercy because they are orphans.
very well said!!

If this has already been posted, I apologize. Just got back home for a few minutes and have to go out again. The New Jersey Supreme Court is taking phone calls nationally in order to "poll" on this issue. I called from the car and had a polite discussion with person who answered. Their Number is 609-292-4837. They probably won't make a decision today so calls are important. PLEASE CALL. Thanks for the heads up. I just called. Stated that the "voters need a choice" argument is utterly bogus. The voters have the ultimate freedom to choose a candidate now: its called the "write-in" vote. Oh, I also mentioned that it is pretty pathetic that the court has to take a "poll" before deciding.

Can anyone tell me whether the two Rat judges that gave cash to The Torch recused themselves?
