Good for you my friend. Judges taking a poll is totally ridiculous. In fact the only poll necessary should be one on whether these bozos stay on the bench after their rotten decision. I vote NO!

Think of an argument, write it down, and give them a call.

Sheeeee...it.--- Just offer them money. They will listen to that.

It appears the justices will just let these 3rd party lawyers speak their piece without any interruption and then move on. They are ignoring these lawyers, just as they are ignoring the rule of law.

It looks like a good 1-2 punch was set up between the GOP and the Libertarians.

The GOP hits on the federal law (reminds everyone of the military ballots fiasco - reminds of the Dems dirty tricks). The Libertarians hit th epolitical gain strategy and cover the GOP from the "disenfranchisement" line the Dems use.

They didn't even question her. They wanted her off the stage as soon as possible.

There is no question in my mind, based on 20 years in practice, that they will hold for the Democrats.

It would seem to me the Democrats would have contacted and secured the votes of enough judges to assure a favorable decision before making this move. They definately had to have felt they had the ducks in a row.

The lawyer for the Dems, knowing this was coming, would have had time to prepare. The Republican lawyer would be short on prep time.

Question: Why is it up to the Republicans to take up the charge on this? Isn't this the business of the democratic voters? They are after all the ones who have had their votes cut off. And where are the other political parties - letting the Republicans carry the water on this?

If the Libertarians wanted to substitute a candidate at the last minute they would not be able to do so because they would not have the $$ to pay to reprint the ballots but the Dems do have the funds to do so. Sounds like an equal protection argument to me.

Now they're talking about moving the certification date days after Election Day to accommodate the 35 days. It's Florida all over again.

Good, I believe federal law mandates the election date.

There is a deadline for absolute reasons. You can go to any state voting regulations, and they all have a limit. Either you make it by the limit or you don't run. I say let Torch run, and if anyone else wants to run instead...just advertise as a write-in....thats why we have write-in ballots. And some folks might be surprised how many votes Torch still gets....it might be a pretty fair number.
