Check the link in Post #303 in this thread -- Alberta's Child has already got this covered.

We're going to change the name of our state to North Florida.

Side note:
Every lawyer has more vowels than constanants in their names ...

..what does he mean by "statutory intent" ??This is in relation to the "Pine Tar Precedent", on which dems now base all their arguments. It goes like this:
Sure, the law may say otherwise, but let's follow the spirit of the law.
HAH! They're making my point by referring themselves as UMPIRES.

Where is Judicial Watch? Why aren't they stepping in and doing something about it? What about the "true conservatives" who defend the Constitution? Where are they? I guess since these guys aren't Repubs, it doesn't get their attention. Does that mean they only attack the GOP for selfish motives? Just wondering.

Can someone tell me if the justices actually used the word 'hijacked'?
To: Kaisersrsic
but the Attorney General is saying that the S. Ct. would have to get evidence from the County Clerks that they could get the revisions done. Not a good fact for the Dems. Courts are supposed to make decisions on the record that's in front of them, not the record that might be placed in front of them at some future point.
One thing to consider is that the NJSC knows that they would be in deep kimchee if they ordered this ballot change but it couldn't be completed in time for all voters -- including absentees.
and now we have the fat lispy guy arguing for all the clerks of the world ...

Time for them to unhook their phones and take some longgggg lunch breaks for a couple of days.

This
has to backfire with NJ Democrat voters. The Dem party believes that their problem was Torricelli's corruption. So, all they have to do is change the Dem candidate and the NJ voters will obediently vote for him. However, I think the behavior of the party is making them look as corrupt as Torricelli. NJ Democrats, wake up!
</wishful thinking>

but the Attorney General is saying that the S. Ct. would have to get evidence from the County Clerks that they could get the revisions doneJust covering his but because he know the counties will say different. He also implied that the courts should stay involved and force the counties to comply.
To: TheBigB
they put up a candidate who, ethically, makes Clinton look like Honest Abe Well, I wouldn't go that far! Clinton was just a better liar and knew how to clean up his messes more effectively. If this had been Clinton, Chang would not still be alive to cause him this trouble.

I have that knot in my stomach again; this is going to the Supreme Court and we're gonna hear "The Republicans don't want people to vote" all over again.

Problem is, the Dems can and will demagouge on this.
Our only shot is to call this a bait-and-switch - a tactic that sleazy businesses use. I hate to repeat myself, but if a business did this, it would be shut down, and the owners would be VERY lucky to avoid an 8-foot by 10-foot prison cell with a cellmate who says, "My name is Spike, honey."
