Judge - What happens if the Torch remains on the ballot? Judge - What happens if the Torch wins? RAT - Elected someone who cannot serve.

What a weak argument. If Torricelli wins he wins, if he loses heloses. He is only claiming he cant serve, becasue he is dropping out. There is nothign to prevent him from winning except losing the election.

What I cannot get over is how they just all act like the existing law is NO PROBLEM; brazen as hell.

This decision is made.

"this case presents a new paradigm"

I smell "emanations and penumbras" here.

It's like the Menendez brothers killing their parents and then asking the court for mercy because they are orphans.

Exactly.

"If you're going to change your candidate at this late date, THEN WHAT IS THE F#CKING POINT OF HAVING A PRIMARY IN THE FIRST PLACE?"

And if the governor and the leading party hacks are going to decide who goes on the ballot, rather than the voters--then I second your question about the point of a primary.

I am also sensing that the RATS are arguing for a liberal interpretation of the 51-day rule, but a strict interpretation for the 30-day rule for resigning. What hypocrites.

Where is the discussion of the integrity of the primary process? The court seems to have agreed where they want to go (change the ballot) and right on to whether it is "administratively feasible."

This is outrageous! Why don't the judges help the dems stuff the new absentee ballots?

I would think the rats would have looked into this with the Judges before the pushed Torch out the door. They knew the outcome before it happened (outcome based elections, a'la Gore)

OMG, they're talking about faxing absentee ballots!

New levels of corruption are feasible.

Just the fact that they have let this go on this long without tossing the Dems out on their butts makes me think this is not going to be good for the GOP.
