The woman judge just said "Some states let them replace right up to the day before the election, can't we do that? pretty please." I heard that. Unbelievable. She is trying to make the case for him.

LOL, the RAT lawyer is arguing using Bush vs. Gore as a precedent!

I swear, the DEMS are giving the perfect example of what is WRONG with this country.

Imagine that the candidate to be named at this late date was the carbon-copy of Torricelli. Torricelli was done in by months and months of revelations about his personal dishonesty and bribe-taking. If he only had to run a 35-day campaign, none of his wrongdoing would have come to light, and he would have won at a walk.
Torricelli was losing for a reason. Eliminating the need to campaign for an extended period impedes public scrutiny of the candidates and makes it more likely that somebody who should not be allowed to hold office can win an election before anybody knows that he is crooked.
Torricelli himself proves why this subsitution should not be allowed.

I think this is going very well.for the Rats. I only see one concern being the absentee ballots and the juctices just gave them the method to circumvent the problem.

First real softball question from a judge.
To: 1Old Pro
I almost jumped out of my seat at that one. Why do we subject ourselves to this?
"We're asking you to broadly interpret the statute." UGH!

If I was sitting at the GOP table, I would argue that the Dems gave it away when they argued that the actual time limit the Court should apply would be based upon the evidence in the case. There is no evidence before the Court.

'Rat lawyer asking for absentees to cast another, new, ballot if the first was already sent. Since votes aren't counted until Election Day, just count the new one. I see multiable voting here. There will be a 150% absentee voter turnout this year.

Why do we subject ourselves to this?If you EVER figure that out, ping me.

I want to see some third party effort then to get another name on the ballot. Hell, if they are going to reprint everything and allow a change at this late date, then why not open it up to anyone????
To: Phantom Lord
They do not, and you do not, want to encounter the wrath of the Soap Opera junkies when their show is pre-empted. Cable news networks then, damnit! CNN showed the video while their blue-dressed biddy droned on and on and then (!) they cut away to breaking news: the end of the Anaheim car chase. What are they smoking?
To: LisaFab
$730,000 cost to swap Torch ... "cost of democracy is the cost of democracy" ... who should pay? ... RAT wants taxpayers to pick up the tab
