TRENTON -- Democrats chose former U. S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg last night to replace Sen. Robert Torricelli as the Democratic candidate for senator. Torricelli bowed out of the race Monday when it became apparent his questionable ethics would be the lone issue.

.....we seriously might as well print all the laws on extra soft paper, segment them, and put them on rolls.

Hey, great idea. Why not just plaster Democrat Wipes all over the (ahem) rolls.

we seriously might as well print all the laws on extra soft paper, segment them, and put them on rolls. Catch my drift?

For the last few decades the law has been selectively enforced. How many times haven't we heard of a law not being enforced because (supposedly) there was no public outcry? Then there are the PC laws like hate crimes-- a tool with which the Left can beat up the Right. In the leftist absolute-free world, that the purpose of the law: to oppress your enemies and empower fellow lefties.

The NJ ruling is a perfect example of this as is the Clinton escape from justice.

As usual, you are absolutely right.

If I could pick and wrap the exact right words about this, I'd be irresistibly tempted to write one of my rare essays. This is so quintessentially liberal. When it comes to cases like murder and "hate" crimes and all, liberals feel themselves to be competent actually to play God and read the minds and intentions of other men and women.

But when it comes to a law which states, specifies and mandates NOT thirty-one days, nor sixty four days, but FIFTY-ONE (51) DAYS, they just can't quite make it out.

Not if it requires them being held inconveniently accountable for one of their foolish, immoral decisions.

Ahh, don't even get me started.

Okay. Thanks. I'm glad to give them the traffic if they usually tell the truth. (Sorry for missing your all caps protocol.)
