ACU Members, Friends, Supporters, and Activists:
It was more than a year and a half ago when ACU filed its complaint against Jackson-related entities, the Democrat National Committee, and the Gore/Lieberman 2000 campaign.
You may recall how Je$$e used "get-out-the-vote" non-partisan funding, to shill for that election's loser, Al Gore.
"Get out the bushes," bellowed the Jackson from multiple stops on the campaign trail.
Well, we are still waiting for the FEC to finish its investigation; they won't disclose any information other than that the investigation is "active." Once they complete the investigation, they'll let us know the outcome, but not until then.
As part of our complaint, we requested an IRS audit of Jackson's federal tax returns as well as his organizations and their related entities. We may never know what the IRS's intentions are on this matter; however, we also went to the House of Representatives Ways and Means Committeewho has congressional oversight of the IRSin an effort to have the Congress hold public hearings on selective enforcement of campaign laws by the IRS.
House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Bill Thomas wrote us a letter stating that his committee "intends to examine the issues you [ACU] raised and the administration of the law by the Internal Revenue Service." To date, however, the investigation has gone nowhere.
Now it's your turn, friends.
Send a brief note to Chairman Thomas, and urge him to aggressively pursue this matter. Remind him how our complaint outlined in plain terms how Jesse Jackson broke the law and continues to do so. Without his help, the world may never realize exactly how dangerous Jackson is to the rule of law and effective enforcement of campaign finance laws.
Do your part, and make your voice heard on Capitol Hill!

I put the wrong URL link for the ACU. If you click on the link above, it will take you to a university website. The ACU website is at this link:
Sorry about the confusion. I wasn't talking about the link "TAKE ACTION NOW". I was talking about the link in the orginal article itself.
