President Bush met with congressional leaders today to asks that they pass the Terrorism Insurance Agreement by Friday. Bush stressed the need to pass the measure so that 300,000 people could get back to work on $15.5 billion worth of projects that are on hold because of no insurance. The President also made it crystal clear that although an Iraqi inspection agreement is a step in the right direction, the Biden/Lugar resolution is just not strong enough. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura Bush was in Florida today to help promote reading. This evening, she is attending a fund-raiser for her brother-in-law, Jeb. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I had to get dinner to my husband. You are absolutely right about your statement. If we would have done something as assinine as that, it would be all over CNN and a HUGE disgrace. One thing I'm wondering about is lastnight on The Factor, Bill mentioned that he would ask Babs why Hillary kicked her out of the whitehouse. Do you know anyting about that?? First time I've heard of it and it sounds interesting.

Republic strongholds, no doubt.

Bill mentioned that he would ask Babs why Hillary kicked her out of the whitehouse. Do you know anyting about that?? I don't recall the details, but Babs spent the night in the Lincoln Bedroom while Hillary was away, if I remember correctly. I'm sure your imagination can take it from there....

hi rintense:
Cael Sanderson, the first unbeaten four-time NCAA wrestling champion, was supposed to meet with President Bush today in the Oval Office. Sanderson, who graduated from Iowa State and finished with a 159-0 record, was also to go to the House for the reading of a resolution recognizing his amazing achievements.
I was so hoping to find some pics of his meeting with the Prez on the dose. Did you find anything about this????

Yikes!!That's a terrible visual. Those noses so close together and everything....hmmm..I just can't imagine Hillary caring about that, but who knows.
To: HappyInfidel
I don't remember all of the details on that, but I know Bubba ended up with a big 'ol scratch on his face when it was all over.

Yes, that is a pretty green suit Dubya is wearing.
Note the red place on his nose. Okay! It's orange.
My mother had one on her nose last week. I doctored it very gingerly with anti-biotic ointment because it looked very raw and sore. When she was getting ready for bed, I doctored it again and it came off. It was from the cup of tomato soup she had for lunch.

Ari is a class act and he serves the President well.
