While the image is appealing ( she does get underfoot, as my Mom used to say... ) it's more prosaic that that- she still can't drive the 25 miles to work without excessive discomfort, so I'm the driver. Or as she likes to joke, it makes here equal with the Bishop of Georgia ( her ultimate boss ) as he's the only other one in the diocese with a driver...
