The chances of the Dems winning the lawsuit are close to zero. The chances of the Dems winning with a write in with The Torch on the ballot are low, UNLESS it is Bubba. With Bubba, I decline to predict. I think I would give Bubba a distinct edge. Jersey would love having such a high profile flamboyant senator. Whether Bubba would do it is iffy though. But The Torch spent the day on the phone with him trying.

Recently my hub and I got into a discussion about the frontrunners for President election 2004, the pickings are so bad he predicted they would run Bill Clinton.....could happen and frankly I wouldn't be surpised...

I'll start calling him
"Bubba Doc Clinton" if that happens.

Explain to me why the Dems will lose the lawsuit.
Are you saying that the courts will make an exception for death, not for scandal?? How can we be so sure the court won't stray? Obviously, I agree, no write in campaign could work. Bubba wouldn't really run, and even he might have trouble.

Whether Bubba would do it is iffy though. But The Torch spent the day on the phone with him trying. When his name was first mentioned, I thought, oh great, here were go. Even though he needs the limelight, I think he would decline. After all, being a Senator is a step down from having been President. I doubt he would do it. He can say anything he wants, any time, right now, and makes (too much) money doing it.
IF he did, then I would think that he was TOLD to do it. A higher up calling shots? If so, who?
