Would only work if the Torch stayed in.

I heard Campaign Carl and, as you know, "froms his lips to God's ear."
Jane...LAUTENBERG! Sorry, I had to say it. This is very depressing. I hope the RNC is digging into the statutes to challenge this. Just last night some friends and I were toasting to the extinguishing of the Torch.

This is a travesty. A total mockery of the election system in this country.

Then a special election would be called. In one of the Torricelli-Forrester debates, Torch accused Forrester of wrongdoing in his business which was why he was being sued. Forrester came right back and said he had heard of no such suit and therefore Torch must have inside information. In fact, it had only been since he was running against Torch that he had been investigated and accused of wrong business practices for the first time in his career, levelling the charge the Torch had discharged all barrels at him. If a special election is called, it could provide the time to continue the witch hunt to find something that could then be blown way out of proportion to defeat Forrester.

Thank you! I haven't seen his name in print for a long time and so wasn't sure how to spell it.
Clinton is behind this, I just know it.
I hope Ashcroft is ready to indict McAuliffe.

I hope the GOP rolls hard on this - big time. This is serious dirty pool, and we need to fire back with full broadsides. No rules, we fight dirty, too.

D'Amato on now talking about this. Torch is in trouble. If Rats can persuade him to step aside, they have a bette chance to hold the seat. (Well DUH.)
Rat commentator hyping Forrester's bad record on Superfund Clean Up.
Linda Vester not taking that crap. Then Rat guy says that the campaign needs to get back to the issues. HAR!
