Prayer bump for Frank.

Prayers going out to you Frank.
Veterans associations lead the path to recovery. The professional shrinks and medication cloud everything, but comaraderie and sharing experiences lighten the load.
Good luck Frank. Semper Fi.

Keep the faith, Frank, and keep your chin up. You'll get through this.

I add my prayers for Frank, and a thank-you for his service to his country. We will never forget.

TFTF, as always, Tonk.
If Frank can afford it, he should go back to Vietnam. Sometimes I even think the government should kick-in, in allowing V-vets a return trip. It really helped me get a lot of bugaboos out of my system.
And honestly, he needs to buck-up somewhat as well, and be a little prouder, if not of his own service there, then of all those great Americans he served with, in what was truly a great enterprise.

For many years I held my Nam Vet status pretty close to the bone and it ate away at me. One fine day I went to a reunion of one of my old units and somebody handed me a Viet Vet cap which for some reason I put on and wore if a bit timidly.
A group of us were walking thru a downtown area and an elderly gentleman walked up to me and said simply "welcome home and sincere thanks for your service."
I cannot begin to express the flood of emotions that his simple act released. Still have a moderate case of PTSD but I'm no longer keeping quiet about my service. I wear that cap proudly these days and woebetide the moron who calls me a baby burner or even looks like he's gonna spit on me.

Dear Frank,
Everyone is thanking you now for your service, and I add my thanks to that...but more, I thank the Lord that you came home to family and friends and bless you for feeling in a world where feelings seem to have gotten lost somewhere.
Remembering is pain, but letting it out will set you free. We are all praying for you and all of our Veterans and it can't be easy for you to watch the winds of war swirling all around us now ripping open wounds we thought time had healed. There is strength in the heart and soul of an American Patriot. You have had it and we do so need that strength now.
Welcome home all you marvels of American endurance. Our pride in you has been and will remain forever strong.
Many Blessings, Heartfelt Prayers,
Nix
Thank you so much, Tonkin, for the ping allowing me to honor Frank and all those with whom he served.

Frank, we are praying for you flying the flag 24/7 lit dawn to dusk sheltered from the rain.
Accept the gratitude of us who know you kept the world free.
Ignore the undercurrent of the ignorant who will be recycled until they get it.
God Bless You and God Bless America.

Prayers are forthcoming. Along with everyone on my prayer chain.

May the Good Lord heal this vet's mind, body and soul. In Jesus' Name. Amen. And we thank him for his service. God bless America.
