To those of you who had the pleasure of her friendship truly enjoyed a unique experience, mixed with laughs, tears, love and fire. I can't tell you what an empty space she has left, one that will never be filled, ever. To the Freepers that have not had the pleasure, I will endeavor to share with you some of her talents and glow with banter from our cookbook threads, a treasure trove of the essence of Angelique, and many of her dearest friends, for the benefit of her beloved FreeRepublic.

Au revoir, ma petite amie.
Hours we spent talking but you never talked of your own pain, only that of others.
I will remember you every night when Blue Boy comes for dinner. I told him about you often.
The dark days are behindyou have now found the light. Rest in peace.

Oh no!!!!!!!!
To: carlo3b
I thought of her the other day because I missed her.... I wondered if we weren't just missing each other on threads, and I vowed to do a search for our sweet lady.
Now this sad news. I feel as though I've been punched in the stomach.
We all share your sadness Carlo. Life around here won't ever be the same without her, but Heaven rejoices.
To: carlo3b
Rest in Peace, Angelique.
Although I didn't know you personally I knew you through your posts. You will be missed.

Carlo,
If you can find out from the family the year Angelique was born, and her real name, I can add her to the FR Memorial Wall.

So sorry to hear it. I remember she came over to the Lucianne alumni threads (now the Freeople threads) fairly early on to greet us. I also remember the sparring got a bit lively once or twice, but she seemed to be a good person, and your experience clearly bears that out. May God be good to her, and also to you and her family and friends.

This is such sad news. She's in my prayers.

Oh Lord...
I am stunned.
carlo, you have lost a dear friend, and Freedom has lost a indefatigable champion, this FReeper Joan D'Arc.
I am sorry for myself, for having missed her friendship over some silly issue that somehow seems so much less than important right now. I wanted to flag her to the threads where the old wars were still being waged. But foolish pride stood in the way.
People, it's so important that we take a deep breath sometimes, that we do not allow mole hills to grow into mountains, it's so important that we listen to the whispered warnings of the better angels of our nature.
I know now, without a shadow of a doubt, that there's a little boy, somewhere in Cuba, who has gained a fierce, and loyal angel guardian.
My condolences carlo, you were a good friend to her, and without a doubt, she's watching over you as well.
Farewell Angelique.
To: carlo3b
Carlo, I'm so sad to hear of your loss. I pray that Angelique is now in His Light, and I pray that The Lord gives you peace, strength and healing.
To: carlo3b
I send my condolences.

Angelique was one of my best friends here on Free Republic. We shared many moments just laughing at all the funny post all you wonderful folk would provide. She like you Registered and all your funny graphics. She love LadyX and Cob1 as we were all Marines or Marines wives.
Angelique, loved vine riped tomatos. I always have a summer garden, and we would spend long hours on the phone talking about how I could ship her a box of my vine riped tomatos without getting caught or put in jail, LOL.
My freind loved to laugh. We'd share stories on the phone about our growing up. She had a brother, who sounded alot like mine, and oh how we'd laugh about what our brothers did or said when we were kids.
I will miss my best friend. I emailed her several times asking her "where the heck are you?" She did not answer me so I thought she had moved back to California. I wanted to tell her my tomatos didn't do well this year, and make up some funny story about wimpy tomatos. I never got a chance.
Sleep well my friend. I will miss you.
