Reward offered in Elizabeth Township feline massacre

Animal activists are offering a reward for information that helps them solve the Elizabeth junkyard cat massacre.

An estimated 10 feral cats were killed Sept. 14 at the Warhola Scrap Metals yard in Elizabeth Township. When Manager Janet Grossi arrived that Saturday morning to feed the cats, none greeted her. Instead, she found an ominous scene.

I agree value humans over animals as well, that is why it is so important that sicko scum like this be found and punished. Killing for the sake of killing is disgusting. I have no problem with hunting or with controlling vermin but this is neither, its just some twisted soul who might move on to humans. Think about it in that light.

I happen to agree with your overall opinion of cats: they are awfully effective wildlife killers. Ofcourse, cat lovers prefer cats over pretty much any form of wildlife, so that detail means little to most of them.

What I would like to know is, who owned those damned cats?

I don't like people laughing and making jokes about animal torture/killings/mutilations. It encourages the sickos to continue in their meaningless lives...shows others it's not serious.
We should be making these sob's suffer the same way they made the animals suffer.

Anyone who advocates killing a human being in retaliation for the death of a dumb animal, is just as sick.

I don't consider animals dumb...and yes...if a heartless cruel sick kid pours gas on a cat and lights it...I think it's only fair to show him the same treatment......let me light the match.
