A man is accused of beating two of his daughters to death with a stick as they slept at their home in Karachi.
Police in Pakistan say he also critically injured their 12-year old sister because he was angry she was attending school.
All three girls were rushed to a local hospital in Hyderabad, where two of them, aged 2 and 4, died.

Where are the feminists? Yoo-hoo... feminists... over here. No, put down the "You have no right to kill Saddam and you should have done it 10 years ago" picket sign and come over here.

A religion of peace? How twisted....

Let me tell you about a feminist in the Netherlands, Femke Halsema. She is number two of Greenleft. In a debate on national TV she claimed that arranged marriages of muslim woman in the Netherlands who are forced to marry muslim men living in foreign countries (mostly Morocco, Turkey and Somalia) was a sign of emancipation!
The guy who she was debating with tried his best to hold his laughter, and the announcer was silent for a few moments, he couldn't believe what he just heard.

I'm having trouble understanding the basics of this story. The father was mad because the twelve year old was attending school so he clubs the two little ones to death and tries to kill the older one too? Why kill the babies?

Another argument for all of us to convert to the religion of love.

Muslim women are at risk of not just losing 'equal pay, for equal work', they are losing their lives. But it's OK as long as White Christian American males are not doing the oppressing. By the way, where is Amnasty International and Useless Rights Watch? I thought they enjoyed protesting.

This is a short article an there is no mention that the man was charged with any crime.
Perhaps under Sharia this is not a crime?

They will also one day be twelve and maybe they too want education. And they were woman too.
Killing woman is not a major crime in Pakistan, where woman are raped, when they go to the police are raped again and then put on trail. Where a man shoots his wife because she looks at another man and then get away with it, or poke their wife's eyes out so they cannot look at another man. Or cut their nose of or the ears. And don't forget the throwing of acid in woman's faces.

"By the way, where is Amnasty International and Useless Rights Watch?"
I do wonder why these 6th century Islamic countries are so favored as were the East European dictators (and Fidel Castro)in the hay day of commie tyrrants. Human Rights are only violated by Republican in the US with school vouchers and tax cuts.

Real nice. Now I admit people in this country kill their kids, we all know that and to deny it would be ridiculous, yet I can't think of a single large or even small segment of our society that accepts this behavior (let's not have an abortion debate over this).
What I have seen in Muslim countries is an attitude that children, especially female children are less then chattle at the slighest provocation it's acceptable if not mandatory for a male family member to send them on to Allah.
