Yes, east of Baytown, see it now....we would have driven thru there on our way to N.O.

San Jacinto and Kemah were favorite spots.

Kemah was so quiet! We went up there to get figs every summer.

Now the year before I was born was the big Texas City disaster.

My father was a chem. engineer who that day had the glass windows in his office shattered, and some heavy ship material land in the grass outside....
