Thanks for your #46, another great post. The modern Dims are the McGovern, anti-Vietnam War faction that seized power in 1972. They advocated appeasement throughout the remainder of the Cold War. They are reverting to type. I really don't think they can stop themselves, even though they are self-destructing their chances in the Novemeber election.
