9-The Balkans- Moslem Turks occupied the Balkans for nearly five centuries and encouraged conversion with tax breaks and government jobs. Many locals accepted the offer and earned the enmity of their Christians neighbors. Although depicted as the underdogs, whenever the Moslems are a majority (as in Kosovo), they persecute the local Christians.

KOSOVO: Serb Refugees Still Refused Return

September 24, 2002; Serb refugees in Serbia continue to demonstrate on the Kosovo border. Albanian violence caused some 200,000 Serbs to flee Albania in 1999 (when NATO had chased the Serb army out). Only 80,000 Serbs remain in Kosovo and most NATO troops are tired up defending them from Albanian attacks. As a result, NATO refuses to allow Serb refugees to return to their homes in Kosovo because they cannot protect them from armed Albanians.

Islam is humble and quiet as long as there is no alternative and it will get its ass kicked for screwing with people. When it is in a position to flex its muscles, it will kill any nonbelievers. Take it to the bank.

Off topic, but this brought to mind where would you find a list of top ten spots Christians persecute Non-Christians or Jews persecute Non-Jews. Could not think of one spot in the whole world... Quite a difference between the two camps.

I would say that the top one spot that Moslems are persecuting non Moslems is Israel. They are slaughtering as many as they can reach.

While I think the concept that Jewish settlements in the West Bank automatically make those new towns part of Israel is wrong, I have no doubt that if those settlements were transferred to a Palestinian authority (in other words Jews wanting to live in good faith as citizens of Palestine in their West Bank settlements) the Muslims would slaughter them eventually.

Indeed. I am no expert, but the problem, among others, is theological. I have been told (and results bear this out) that Muslims, unlike Christians, regard no difference in function between the church and the state. Christians understand them both to be institutions created by God, accountable to Him, but with different functions. Muslims do not understand that, so as soon as they gain power in a government they use it to destroy all others of different faiths.

In addition, Muslims obviously do not recognize that an unbeliever can be "converted" through a fundamental change of heart and soul. "Conversion" in the Muslim religion comes by forced adherence to Muslim rules, or by death if that proves impossible.
