The Chinese ought to see what we do to Iraq!
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
As long as Free Trade and Globalism rule our government, nothing will be done about it.

The Chinese ought to see what we do to Iraq! China is not Iraq, not even close.
Anything we can possibly do to Iraq will have absolutely no effect on the Chinese.
China is probably our greatest threat, next to a United Islamic Front committing coordinated terrorist acts throughout the world.
China and a United Islamic Front working together would be possibly the greatest threat the Free World has ever confronted.

I believe this is and has been happening for the sole purpose of destroying the United States. This is why the PRC, with their Russian allies have been providing funding, weapons and technology to Iraq, Iran, Libya and Syria. This is why the PLA has taken control over the Panama Canal. This is why the PRC has built the largest naval facility in the world in the Bahama's. This is why the PRC is taking over the Lourde's spy facility in Cuba, and has been funding Marxist rebel throughout Latin America.
Have you ever read Bill Gertz's book, "The China Threat"? If not, I would highly recommend it. It is chilling. No, it's down right frightening.
May the Lord protect us.

Oh, they haven't had the first inkling yet of what we can do back. They are still standing on their heads (a Gasset reference, for those with ears to hear). As though the US can't play the destabilization game, the proxy game, the proliferation game, the "assymmetric" game - and as though the Chinese are any better able to deal with such threats. Sauce for the goose. There is no "victory" down that road for their side. They want there to be "deterence" down that road, enough to scare off conventional intervention if they try to grab Taiwan by force in 10 or 15 years. But it is nine tenths bluff, because they aren't any longer in such suits than we are - and we are longer in others as well...

"We know you're arming the al Qaeda, Jiang. Would you like some more barbecue sauce, amigo?"

I'd say 2,000 warheads ought to work.

"China is probably our greatest threat"
Wrong...That would be Washington D.C. China only has the power that Washington continues to give them in the form of economic and technological strength. If you want to do something about Beijing, you have to start in D.C. because thats where the head of the snake lies.

China is probably our greatest threat, next to a United Islamic Front
and that is EXACTLY what is going on here... they are standing right NEXT to each other... NEXT is your prescient choice for connecting the two...
The target may NOT be Iraq... but China.
We may have a LOT more sacrificing to do, than we ever dreamed. I don't fear a conflict with IRAQ... but china has so many people, we couldn't even nuke our way to victory...
and surrender, is OUT Of the question.

The Axis of Evil: Iraq, Iran and North Korea, geographically bracket the Anus of Evil: China.

The colonels were quick to take credit for the attacks on the World Trade Center, telling the paper their strategy had worked and that "September 11, 2001 very likely is the beginning of the decline of the United States, as a superpower." I'm going to have to read this book before having meaningful comments, but they are of course, correct.
The U.S. is done for, since the enemy has figured out that it can exploit it's strengths to force it to destroy itself.
Nothing is required other than the perversion of basic principle: free men in a free society can exist only so long as they are engaged and have something to lose.
When the citizen and the alien is afforded equal status, the motivating force for this free society disappears.
This is of course the result of stupidity, and is manifest by activist courts, multiculturalism and PC. Wrap it in feel-goodism and there is nothing left to stand against "asymmetrical" warfare.
When we identify the enemy and, rather than destroying him utterly, we have heated debate as to how quickly we must "rebuild" his country the end is definitely near.
The enemy has cost us trillions and trillions, and trillions more in the near future, and instead of seeking restitution, we act nationally as if a free society in the abstract is the end in itself.
It's not much good once it disappears...

Robert Teesdale offers this in response to the Chinese Government's recent acts of piracy and war against the United States.
