THIS is why it is IMPORTANT who controls the Senate...JUDICIAL APPOINTMENTS.
I agree that it is important who controls the Senate. But note, this activist "Liberal," was confirmed by a Republican Senate. It is not just a matter of party. It is a matter of having Senators who will hang tough for principle, and who understand the Federal nature of our system. The "Liberals" have been blocking Conservative appointments since 1930, but we have never learned to block the "Liberal Activists."
This should be another wakeup call. But decades of frustration will make me wait to be shown that more than one or two Senators get the message.
