EXCERPT "In 2000, McAuliffe chaired the Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles, where he was involved in all decisions and planning related to the Convention. Thanks in part to his efforts, the Convention had the most open and diverse speaking program in the party's history."

This is an accomplishment?

EXCERPT McAuliffe ....became active in national politics, signing on with the Carter-Mondale Reelection Committee. It was during this campaign that he famously wrestled an alligator on a dare from a fundraising prospect.

That's a riot. Typical do-anything-for-a-buck DemonRrat.

And btw, where are the deatils of McAwful's stock deal with Global Crossing in which the DNC chair "invested" $100 thou then cashed out to the tune of $18 million?

The results were extraordinary: a new Democratic Governor and Lieutenant Governor in Virginia; a landslide win in New Jersey's gubernatorial race and huge gains in the New Jersey legislature

This much is true. But it wasn't so much McAuliffe who was responsible, it was the idiot who was head of the RNC at the time. They neglected to back the candidates in these races, a major screw-up. That's why he was fired.

Hmm. It also didn't bother to include that he sold his soul to be able to lambast conservatives while he and his party comrades are free to sin with immunity.

Donnie Di Fiasco was more responsible for McGreedy's election that Mc Awful!
Each additional voter makes a difference of 1, but each RINO changed vote makes a difference of 2 (1 less R, 1 more D)!

This puff piece skips the WorldCom connection with Terry, which you describe accurately and which is why, in my latest column -- third link below -- I refer to him as Terry ("the 18-million-dollar man). But it also misses the $364,00 bribe he took from Prudential Insurance while he was working at the White House.

Prudential pleaded guilty and paid a fat fine. Good Ol' Terry was never investigated even though it was for paying money to Terry that they pleaded guilty. Of course, Janet ("the Just") Reno was Attorney General then, which may explain that paradox. Anyway, that's why in my column I refer to him as a lawyer who should have been dusbarred and jailed.

Of course, McAuliffe is pond scum. But that is what one expects for a lifetime enabler for Billyjeff Clinton.

There's a great FR thread on McAwful's campus doings. In the midst of one speech, Young Repubs began reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, stopping McA in his tracks....he was forced ot join in.

Not worried about the Mr. Clinton appointee is misguided from the top. Sure, short term gains...........long time loser. This one is easy. They are eating themselves. Look at Florida for a start.

The best thing to happen to Republicans is for the C to be in command, and he is.

Last year (before 9/11) I checked out the DNC web site. It looked like a Terry McAuliffe home page. Ha!

I see his megalomania has only gotten worse. Just like Clinton, it is me, me, me...24/7.

"And in response to the voting irregularities in Florida and around the country during the 2000 presidential election, Chairman McAuliffe created the Voting Rights Institute (VRI)"

This statement is really funny - after what just happened AGAIN in Florida, I would say the VRI hasn't done a very good job. Better luck next time Terreeeee!!

To think he'd even admit to some of this stuff....... so self-absorbed can't even contemplate others might find him to be a sorry joke.

Did he write this himself? He's actually bragging about taking care of driveways when he was a teenager?
