Good God man, did you see the frigging tape!

Sure, we should all judge people guilty or not by the one sided evidence that Fox News chooses to show us. No need for trials and defense lawyers and all that.

Basic principles of due process must ALWAYS apply, no matter how horrible you think the crime. As a matter of fact, the worse the charged crime, the more important that we keep to the rule of law.

Ok...
You didn't see the tape.
That is the only explanation for your bizarre posts.

BTW...did you notice we had a little trouble on 9/11/2001....
or are you waiting for more evidence?

I am all for due process, for having a trial for this mother, for her having her rights protected by her lawyer...I truthfully dont think that anyone here would disagree with that...

However, I would not be against CPS taking away the child from this woman, if it was deemed by law enforcement, that the child was really in danger...I am sure it has happened, where children have been left with abusing parents, who were out on bail, and awaiting trial...and while awaiting trial, the child somehow winds up dead...

I just do think that law enforcement is trying to make sure that this little girl is healthy and safe, with whomever she is staying...

I do realize that CPS has at times overstepped its authority, and children have been removed from homes on the flimsiest of evidence...but all too often, every state has way too many instances of children who are returned to their parents, only later to be beaten to death by those same parents...

Being a childs natural parents, does not give one the right to treat that child in whatever way they want...neglect, abuse, torture, etc, are carried out every day, by natural parents upon their own biological children...these children must be protected by someone...if not CPS, then who?

You may certainly have had experience with CPS in your own state, or in other places, but surely, dont expect anyone to believe that you know how CPS in all states, in all areas operates...I am sure there are instances of CPS making bad decisions, that have ripped families apart for no good reason...I am equally as sure, that CPS has allowed children to die, ,by not acting quickly enough...

I watched this video tape, the same as others on this thread have...it does truly appear, that this mother is pummeling her little girl, of only 4 yrs old, about the face and skull area, and doing it for a considerable length of time...shaking the child, viciously hitting the child, appearing to be in a rage, while smacking the child...

And she sure obviously knew that what she was doing was wrong...she had the foresight, to look around to see if anyone was watching what she was about to do...and please, dont tell us that she was looking around for some other reason...I am not a mind reader, but it takes just an ounce of common sense to figure out, she looked around, and believing herself in the clear, she immediately began pummeling this little girl...

Whatever your issue is with CPS, would be with the particular agency that was involved with you and surely cannot be applied to every such agency clear across this country....

My primary concern in this case, is that this little girl, is actually safe, and has been seen by a doctor who can attest to her health...the mother is going to have her rights looked after by a lawyer, the little girl also needs to have her rights to safety ensured by someone...and I for one, would not at this point, be willing to trust her mother, until we really know what happened...

I guess this means you have chosen to not believe your own lying eyes?

Hell yes This could have been a clear case of self-defense. What are these people on this thread thinking anyway?
