Actually according to most of the sites i've poked around in the 20 tonners are only on the bottom. Most of the stones are around 2 tons, still heavy, but not nearly as heavy.

look at the pyramid, go here and access Egypt Conference photo's 2 and really look at these stones....no MAN or group of men pulled them up the side of the pyramid and around the corners to raise them.....I don't know about the weight diferential, but they appear to be the same size.......
