***The Giza Power Plant: What Was Behind The Door***
Stardate: 0209.21

Posted on 09/21/2002 7:56:15 AM PDT by The Wizard

For those of you who just can't stomach the nonsense they try to tell us about the Great Pyramid, welcome home. If I had my way every child in school would have to learn what Chris Dunn teaches us about the world; yes, that's right, about the world.

The lesson is more profound than the Great Pyramid, because it shows us 4 disturbing things, conculsively:
1. We've been lied too for decades about what happened in Egypt, the tools they had and how they accomplished the many things they did
2. That a great civilization existed and has since perished, and that we need to be careful about what we accept as fact: common sense HAS value.
3. That we have yet to reach a technology that was once possesed here on earth thousands of years ago.
4. That many things told to us as facts, are not.

This is a tremendous book, and I wish I had the ability to put it on TV at 8 pm at night and draw the attention to it that it needs, because mankind will take a giant leap forward when that finally happens.

You believe your unsubstantiated assertions are FACTS? Try again.

Ye gads!  The latest reincarnation of the thoroughly-debunked "The Chariot of the Gods" and its ilk so popular in the '70s.

Why haven't they knocked down that wall already, or have they?

That's right, you're too cowardly to put forth your own position. Your just against people that believe HISTORY over RANDOM FABRICATION.

Who needs a ball point pen to calculate pi, get over yourself, Euclid figured it out without a pen. Egypt has sand and they have sticks, that's really all you need. It is meanigless because you've offered no PROOF that they actually built the pyramid in order to calculate pi. All you've put forth is that because you CAN that must have been the intention. Of course many football stadiums and hockey/ basketball arenas are CIRCULAR which certainly makes it easy to calculate pi using them, do you posit that pi is why we built those buildings also? Funny that you use such circular reasoning around pi.

Don't you pay attention, PROVE that the pyramid is aligned more precisely than we can. Go ahead, try. It CAN'T be done. Of course you're still assuming we even TRY to align our buildings by the cardinal directions, when we clearly don't, we align by predominant terrain features always have.

I've never said the pyramid isn't one hell of a building. I just don't by all the woovie groovie BS about aliens and power plants and pyramid power. It's a very tall very well built structure, that doesn't mean it wasn't a tomb.

Orion's belt isn't a constellation, it's part of a constellation (also happens to be one of the few constellations I can actually spot). But again, does it match now or then, and frankly given that Orion's Belt is just 3 dots in not quite a line, who cares? Do any 3 points not quite in a line have some mystical significance because of their resemblance to the belt?

I ain't doing your research for you. Post the pertinent stuff from him. You're the one making the wild assed assertions (well you're carefully avoiding making any outright assertions, afraid to actually put it out there), you've got to prove them.

As an aside, as I was watching the Soprano's last night I wondered...

How many no-show, and no-work jobs were handed out during the building of the pyramids. And, how many of them di the capo actually report to the boss?

Wizard and you are making the assertions, you're the ones that need to provide the proof. So far all you guys have are:
a picture of a blank wall
blind insistence that just because we haven't found any bodies in the incredibly small percentage we've explored that means it was never a tomb (what's that mean when thousands of years from now archeologists find the Tomb of the Unkown Viet Nam Soldier empty BTW)
obsessing on the "fact" that you can calculate pi with the pyramid in question (which, BTW, if you're good at math you can do with ANY square building, if you're really good you can even do it with rectangles but the math get's really hairy when you start playing with ovals)insisting that a resemblance to Orion's Belt has meaning, but refusing to identify said meaning
demanding I do your research and giving me a name to waste time looking up rather than actually posting some of this guys "pertinent" "finding" yourself

You're making the assertions, it's your job to prove it. Supply facts to prove it.

Another question: What else does one build in the middle of a big graveyard besides tombs and mausoleums?

Well since you're no good at providing us the results of your research I did look up Piazza Smith, not much on him but here's what I found:
Apparently he though God plopped the pyramid down for various reasons none of which make a lick of sense when you consider what's happened to the pyramid in the intervening 5000 years, also completely ignores the possibility that God could have let it be bult for a tomb AND still had a higher purpose for it.
He also though the pyramid "proved" jesus would come back in 1881... so much for that.

Got anybody else you want me to look up and easily debunk?

But so far archeaologists have yet to find a 5002BC electric car.

Which only proves that the ancients were more advanced than us, since electric cars are all crap.

But the Egyptians, as we know, were very familiar with the Cobra.

Hey guys. Tell me what ELSE the Egyptian Pharohs had to do thousands of years ago? The richest man/woman on the planet at the time didn't have to take the kids to football and cheerleader practice, didn't have to report to the boss and punch a clock at 8:00am sharp everyday.

Now, just think what your imagination might come up with if you could do ANYTHING YOU WANTED to do, and had the juice to get your hundreds of thousands of slaves to put their backs into it for as long as the daylight held out. Build cities? Build gosh-awful tombs? You bet. Nothing else to do, either for the Pharohs or for the slaves. Come off it. I don't believe there were magical, or alien, connections. It's nothing that a couple of million slaves couldn't pull off, if the engineers designed it properly. IT HAD THE FULL ATTENTION OF THE EMPIRE, for pity's sake.

By the way, we have it on good authority that the Taj Mahal was built to be a tomb. Is that too elaborate? Tough. That one's a tomb - no question.

I was referring to Smith's studies of the dimensions and features not his explanations of why it was there. In his book, The Great Pyramid, he does not go into such matters.

The Eygptian government won't allow much destruction to take place in that monument.

Pi is calculatable from the height and circumference of the GP but not from any other building or pyramid I believe it is unique. ONce again I never said it was built only for that purpose. Stick to what I say and not your own fantasies.

Eygpt seems to have had a way of making sure the bodies did not disappear even after 1000s of yrs. None were ever found in the GP now were they?

hey you told me to look him up, I did. those were the results. Now if you would do this right and provide the quotes YOU think are important this would be a lot easier, but so far you're long on condemnation and short on substance. Put forth your evidence. What's the guy say that you think would be so blasted enlightening?

Tombs get decorations you know. Remember Pharoahs were considered living gods on earth. You kind of go all out when you bury a god.

what ELSE the Egyptian Pharohs had to do thousands of years ago

Nothing much. Just administer the entire civilized world from Addis Ababa to Baghdad, keep the sea peoples at bay, and handle the usual judicial disputes. Then there was the annual Nile Flood, grain stores, diplomats from India and Mexico, and road and school maintenance. On top of that, agriculture, manufacture, and mining need constant regulation. Papyrus and limestone production alone would be enough to occupy the full attention of most. It is well they didn't actually have millions of slaves because slave administration is a thankless task. Pharoah isn't just an honorary title, that one worked hard and died young due to overwork.
