Did all these illegal aliens come to the US only in the last 2 years? And can Bush single-handedly repeal laws passed by Congress?

What laws have Congress pass which permit illegal aliens into the country? I don't believe you have a point.

My point is that you can't back up your allegations against Bush with actual facts, but rather only personal impressions.

The Constituion requires the President to protect these borders. Why isn't Mr. Bush protecting the borders against this invasion?

You know, just yesterday I heard a report on NPR (yeah, I know it's liberal, but it's the only news I can get on the drive to work) about all the illegal aliens we'd been keeping in jail since 9/ll - "they haven't been accused of any crimes, their only offense is a violation of immigration laws" according to the reporter.

I'll leave out the part where I was screaming at the radio that violation of immigration laws is a crime, but obviously the administration is doing something about at least some of the illegal immigrants, and obviously the liberals are having a fit about it.

The only point I've seen from you is the one on top of your head.

What part of SC are you in, near Walhalla?

I am going nowhere. You are stuck with all of us who believe that comments like this:

[The repub leaders are fooling us on where their loyalties really are. It is now at a point where, agenda wise, there is once again, no difference between the repubs and the demokrats. The people being elected, end up representing the government to us, rather than representing the people as part of the government. Those who continue to support the status quo of a two party, single agenda system are unAmerican and unpatriotic to the point of treason]

tells ALL of us that you are a whiner, bitcher and moaner who is using his position as a Precinct person to bring down his own party. So get out. Or shut up. MOST of us recognize that taking back the Senate and supporting President Bush is critical if we ever hope to make progress.

The Libertarians are calling your name. So get out, I beg you.

Thanks.

"Bush the globalist" withdrew the US from the Durban conference in disgust at the attack on Israel by the Arab Nations. He did the same in Geneva.

"Bush the globalist" boycotted the International Labor Organization meeting.

"Bush the globalist" refused to participate in the UN's International Criminal Court, upholding American sovereignty.

"Bush the globalist" walked away from the Kyoto treaty.

"Bush the globalist" withdrew the promised $34 million US donation to the UN's Population Fund, refusing to be party to abortion funding.

"Bush the globalist" stood in front of the Secretary General, and the assembled membership of the United Nations, read them a listing of the failures of the body to enforce any sanctions of Saddam Hussein, and called them "irrelevant".

BTW, something I find amusing.

Pat Buchanan cries about the Death of the West, and talks about the fact that a decreasing birth rate among Euro-Americans is partly to blame.

Pat Buchanan had no children.

You're right FF, we should all watch what people do, and pay little attention to what they say.

And you KNOW that the border problem has only happened during the last 2 years. It is ALL President Bush's fault. Before Bush was elected we had secure borders and no illegal immigrant problem. President Bush has TOTALLY destroyed America.

"As a matter of fact, under Bush, the Border Patrol AND the INS have received increases in funding so that they may better protect our borders."

More funding- but any more action? I haven't heard of it. Not when he allows the INS head to tell the Border Patrol to 'learn to live with it'. Also, yes, he does want open borders - if he did not, he would be doing something about it. Instead he treats Fox like a co-president and he makes touchy-feely speeches about how they 'are just hard-working people who want a better life for their families', and how, 'they are doing the work no one else will do', and how 'they are so essential to our economy.' Yes, I would say that Bush has clearly shown he wants an open border. Has he done anything about the incursion of the Mexican military into American territory. We certainly heard a lot of screeching from Mexico about our agents going over a fence to retrieve possible evidence.

" Bush is retaliating against an attack on our cities and our people, he's going at it with or without international support. He's leading ONE nation, this one."

Well, does one protect themselves and leave the doors, both front and back, open at the same time? How does one protect oneself and still invite potentional terrorists in 'to take flying lessons' at the same time. The war in Afghanistan may be going OK, and may be achieving its goal, I don't know. But I would not attack a hornet's nest and leave the windows open in my house.

"The trend here is the same one that all anti-American, hate America crowd takes."

I did not hear anything anti-American. It was anti-Bush. It is our right, privilege and duty to criticize the leaders to whom we have given the honor to lead this nation, if they we feel they are not doing what is right. Bush is not America. America was here many years before the Bushes and I fervently pray it will be here many years after all of us and the Bushes.

Oh that's because Bush is in bed with Fox! Didn't you know that??? Forget about the fact that over the past year, relations have basically come to a halt between the US and Mexico. The fact that Bush is focusing on Latino voters PROVES he wants open borders and amnesty for all. /sarcasm

FYI, sweetpea, I agree with that statement 100%. However, it is also our right, privilege and duty to insult, mock, scorn and hold out for general contempt people who make the aforementioned statements if they sound like morons, have ulterior motives or distort the truth.

In other words, if someone says something stupid, we'll call 'em on it.
