As a matter of fact, under Bush, the Border Patrol AND the INS have received increases in funding so that they may better protect our borders.

Mostly because they are the only one that will take on the job and someone has to do it. But in reality I doubt many of the people that ever vote for a Republican have read their state platform or the National one either. These are usually small groups of people. Now don't get me wrong, they do work and keep things rolling and the ones I know are usually very very right wing and take their jobs seriously. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but the Republican voters are more diverse than just one segment, imo.
Well he definitely is at the bottom of the rung in regards to hiearchy within the SC state organization....

My rhetoric? I got a lot of this from one of the Repub's County Chairmans (SC) who attends the exact same Southern Heritage meetings I do. He speaks at these meetings. This proves just how out of touch the established repubs really are. They don't even know what their own people are saying. But one can't expect great political ideas from neo-conservatives anyway.

None of the above. I believe in the law and absolutes. The Constitution is absolutely the greatest man-made document in history. 'Homeland Security' is a violation of this document and another bad idea.
But don't expect it to have any effect on the three 'I'll hate Bush no matter what he does" trio that have been hanging around here.
Calling Bush a 'globalist' after his relegating the UN to the dustbin of history, is so absurd, that I have been laughing out loud reading these posts!
Tell me how this administration is not against this. It is very well documented, the large number of illegal aliens in the USA now. The Constituion requires the President to protect these borders. Why isn't Mr. Bush protecting the borders against this invasion?
