Party precinct... well a biggie I see. Don't much about SC but some don't do much more than set their agendas/platforms, etc and then when reality sets in the remainder of the Party does as they please and votes as they please.... In other words I'm not so sure how much impact the state party has on the final outcome of any election as such. Just a guess on my part.

"Look at what Bush does, not necessarily what he says."

Those are your words, right?

"Bush is for Wide-Open Border."

That's a lie. Unless of course you can cite Bush saying that he's for open Borders, or doing something to stand down the Border Patrol, or the INS.

As a matter of fact, under Bush, the Border Patrol AND the INS have received increases in funding so that they may better protect our borders.

"Bush has stood at the Mexican Border and referred to it as "the New Frontier".

I thought you said not to worry about what he says? Make up your mind, you're spinning like a yo-yo here.

"Bush supported a US economic bail-out of Brazil."

From Capitalism Magazine

"Last month, amid corporate accounting scandals, a declining stock market and a sluggish domestic economy, President George W. Bush supported an International Monetary Fund "emergency bailout" to Brazil. (The IMF consists of 184 nations. The United States controls 17 percent of the Fund.) The IMF also provided $1.5 billion in "short-term loans" to Uruguay. Just as the Clinton administration helped out major banks when they provided $20 billion to Mexico, Bush's gesture bails out Wall Street. Brazil owes Citigroup, FleetBoston, J.P. Morgan Chase, Bank of America and Wachovia over $20 billion."

Try looking past your nose, and avoid taking Pat too seriously, he's lying to you.

"Bush supports more "Free Trade", despite the negative effects to the American economy, industries and workers."

Is that so? So why did he impose extraordinary tariffs on imported steel then? Is that your definition of "free trade"?

"Bush is acting like an empire leader of attacking nations."

Bush is retaliating against an attack on our cities and our people, he's going at it with or without international support. He's leading ONE nation, this one.

Unless of course, you can point to something that shows him doing otherwise.

"Bush is giving support to the UN by addressing them. However, don't be fooled, the UN will likely join in, if not now, at a later date."

You're fortune telling these days?

The spin here is unbelieveable. Bush tells the UN that we are going in, with or without them, and calls them "irrelevant" to their face, and you're trying to sell this crap?

"Bush supports the EU."

So?

"Bush wants a "Homeland Security" bill that will give him, or any future president, the ability to increase the size and scope of the federal government, indefinitely, without the consent of congress, to assist in the War on Terror. Remember who was identified as terrorists? Christians, Constitutionalists and defenders of the second amendment."

More BS. The Homeland Defense initiative is a re-organization of existing agencies to more efficiently control the borders, and defend the nation. The rest of your post is bunk. Unless of course, you can direct me to that portion of the bill that says what you claim that it says.

"Furthermore, what about the Northwoods Document that very closely resembles what has occurred since September 11. What about the old government control of creating or taking advantage of chaos to gain more power? Since September 11, what have we seen? Patriot Act, Homeland Security, Tips, constant terror alerts, etc. This is dangerous, for Thomas Jefferson said that we should never trade liberties for security. However, it is looking like the Bush administration want to do away with them. Hitler wanted to be Chancellor, so he firebombed the Reichstag to create a terror alert to subdue the people. "Fatherland Security" was created, as well as a form of citizen corps, the newly developed "pro-American" campaign developed to assist the nation in fighting terror."

What are you saying here? Are you suggesting that Bush had something to do with 9/11? Are you that far gone to the left that you talk crap like this?

ARE YOU MAKING THE CLAIM THAT BUSH, LIKE HITLER, ORCHESTRATED AN ATTACK TO FURTHER HIS OWN AGENDA??

"I'm seeing some very disturbing trends."

The trend here is the same one that all anti-American, hate America crowd takes.

Compare Bush to Hitler, blame America for being attacked.

You are one sick individual.

Mostly because they are the only one that will take on the job and someone has to do it. But in reality I doubt many of the people that ever vote for a Republican have read their state platform or the National one either. These are usually small groups of people. Now don't get me wrong, they do work and keep things rolling and the ones I know are usually very very right wing and take their jobs seriously. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but the Republican voters are more diverse than just one segment, imo.

If you are spouting any of your rhetoric to fellow Republicans...

My rhetoric? I got a lot of this from one of the Repub's County Chairmans (SC) who attends the exact same Southern Heritage meetings I do. He speaks at these meetings. This proves just how out of touch the established repubs really are. They don't even know what their own people are saying. But one can't expect great political ideas from neo-conservatives anyway.

I AM ASHAMED to be in the same party as you sir.

The I suggest you go to the demokrat party.

IMO, you are either a poser, a liar, or a mole

None of the above. I believe in the law and absolutes. The Constitution is absolutely the greatest man-made document in history. 'Homeland Security' is a violation of this document and another bad idea.

Excellent post, Luis!

But don't expect it to have any effect on the three 'I'll hate Bush no matter what he does" trio that have been hanging around here.

Calling Bush a 'globalist' after his relegating the UN to the dustbin of history, is so absurd, that I have been laughing out loud reading these posts!

Bush is for Wide-Open Border.

Tell me how this administration is not against this. It is very well documented, the large number of illegal aliens in the USA now. The Constituion requires the President to protect these borders. Why isn't Mr. Bush protecting the borders against this invasion?
