A local talk show host is using the term "Bushwacker" to describe Pres Bush. He has explained that he use's the term in a positive way, stating that Bush is Whacking the Taliban, democrats, etc. I explained to him that that term has been used in the 2000 elections in a derogatory way and that it imflames many who hear that term. I need help in finding politcal speechs and the like that I can forward to him. The more the merrier. Thanks all,Randall

Bush is a Globalist. He doesn't do things that are in America's best interest.

I share most of your views, but we cannot be an isolated country when we are the most powerful country in the world.

How about Bush, the Globalist.

I can't imagine how anyone can refer to Bush as a Globalist? Bush has killed several huge International Global Government efforts including Kyoto and the ICC. Bush has told the UN he doesn't care what they think, he is gonna do what has to be done. Bush has set back 20 years of progress by International Global government bodies in attacking our freedoms. Bush has done more to protect and defend the sovereignty of the US than any president in over a hundred years. Of all the names to call Bush, Globalist???????? PUH-LEEEZ.

Of course we can. We don't have to meddle into foreign squirmishes, enter into unfair trading pacts, patrol other nations' borders, essentially police the world. At the same time, we still can have fair, pro-American trade (after all, we are the most powerful), and work on restoring the Constitutional Republic.

Oh, you are so right! Telling the rest of the world we weren't going along with the Kyoto Treaty, and telling the UN to do it right or we were doing it without them are surely globalist policies that aren't in our best interest.

/sarcasm

Look at what Bush does, not necessarily what he says.

Bush backed down to the ICC, giving US Citizens a one year reprieve. Do you think that Americans will get any more reprieves? I tend to think that it's not likely.

As far as the Kyoto Pact, that was unbelieveably stupid, that anyone who would have supported that would have to be a moron. However, Bush has proposed his own Kyoto Protocol.

Bush is for Wide-Open Border.
Bush has stood at the Mexican Border and referred to it as "the New Frontier".
Bush supported a US economic bail-out of Brazil.
Bush supports more "Free Trade", despite the negative effects to the American economy, industries and workers.
Bush is acting like an empire leader of attacking nations.
Bush is giving support to the UN by addressing them. However, don't be fooled, the UN will likely join in, if not now, at a later date.
Bush supports the EU.
Bush wants a "Homeland Security" bill that will give him, or any future president, the ability to increase the size and scope of the federal government, indefinitely, without the consent of congress, to assist in the War on Terror. Remember who was identified as terrorists? Christians, Constitutionalists and defenders of the second amendment.

Furthermore, what about the Northwoods Document that very closely resembles what has occurred since September 11. What about the old government control of creating or taking advantage of chaos to gain more power? Since September 11, what have we seen? Patriot Act, Homeland Security, Tips, constant terror alerts, etc. This is dangerous, for Thomas Jefferson said that we should never trade liberties for security. However, it is looking like the Bush administration want to do away with them. Hitler wanted to be Chancellor, so he firebombed the Reichstag to create a terror alert to subdue the people. "Fatherland Security" was created, as well as a form of citizen corps, the newly developed "pro-American" campaign developed to assist the nation in fighting terror.

I'm seeing some very disturbing trends.

I also forgot to include Bush's support for an amnesty, not to mention support for the Trade of the Americas.

Unfortunately, many Americans never heard what Thomas Jefferson (or was it Ben Franklin?) said...and they want the government to take care of them, no matter how much it costs them in taxes or freedom.

Just look at all the people who are hollering for the government to pay for their medicine.
