My objection lies with this sentence:

"So peaceful Germany today regrets the Holocaust much more than savage Germany sixty years ago. "

I would not have questioned this just a year or two ago, but today I believe that that a very large number of Germans today consider the Holocaust to be little more than unfinished business. And much of the rest of Europe agrees.

Their attitude is as old as the current intifada in Israel. Today's "Peaceful" Germany is exactly who this article is about.
