Hillary Clinton is not a socialist, she is a leftist. As many leftist have found, socialists and liberals are useful idiots that help in pursuit of the leftist's ultimate goal - power. Hillary Clinton pushed National Health Care at the pretense of "being for the greater good". What she was truly after was controlling 260 million people through dependence on government for health care (if they have you by the health care they have you by the short hair).
IMHO, the leadership of the Democratic party is over-run by leftists while the idiot liberals and idiot socialists drool over every utterence of these scoundrels. The path that these leftists take requires that they buy as many votes as possible to create as much dependence as possible. That is why they are constantly looking for more tax revenue while disregarding government corruption redundancy and inefficiency. It is not to help the poor and down trodden after all.
You have hit the nail on the head about the socialists and liberals. If they actually got all the things they wanted, they would then find themselves in a concentration camp as the first wave of "re-education" inmates. Of course, conservatives and libertarians would be among the second wave.
The liberals would be first because they have voluntarily disarmed themselves because they like to "Visualize Whirled Peas". The latter two groups would be second, but not en masse, because many are well-armed, and quite a few actually know how to use those arms in combat situations as well as guerrilla warfare. We may lose in the end, but we will not march quietly into the ovens. I figure its our job to save the bastards from themselves, but to do so in a way in which they never again regain political authority over a rational citizenry.
