On the CNN Radio News update at the top of the hour. The Sudanese air force pilot in custody. No word of where. Looking for confirmation.
Yes, because we allowed the scumbag to get elected. We should have run a grassroots campaign to make sure he was not. I blame myself as much as anyone else for his election. Having said that, I will make it my lot in life to see that his kind do not get elected again. Although with the way politicians are trying to give amnesty to illegals, we may not have a prayer unless we make sure it does not happen.
This nation has been feminized, socialized, taxed to death, propagandized, immigrationized, and gelded. It is no longer a nation of proud people, just a bunch of ninnies looking for another government cheque in the mail.
So why don't I move to the US? Several reasons. The IRS is one. Very, very nasty people from what I hear. Our taxes are higher but the collection techniques are much more humane. Believe it or not there is a far greater measure of personal freedom in Canada, it isn't written down, but it is practised. In the US there is a greater amount of freedom written in your constitution, but it isn't practised.
I have to get off my soap box, I'm going to the States this afternoon for some high school football.
BLAME CANADA!
Wrong answer. I can't think of a single person here who "allowed" x42 to get elected.
Do we make a difference? Absolutely. But when candidates that we support aren't elected (or more accurately, when morons are elected), we cannot shoulder the blame for their election. We have to work harder to prevent them from being reelected. But that means working to inform and change the minds of the more easily influenced, not shouldering the blame for morons who are in office.

(09-20) 08:54 PDT WASHINGTON (AP) -- Federal law enforcement authorities have detained several Sudanese citizens as part of the government's anti-terrorism investigation, an administration official said Friday.
The official said the Sudanese suspects were being questioned at an undisclosed location. The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, disputed a published report that the FBI and CIA are searching for a Sudanese air force pilot who entered Canada with plans to fly a hijacked airliner into the White House.
"There is no one at large who's going to fly a plane into the White House," this official said.
"The federal government has taken into custody over the last several weeks numerous individuals -- as exampled by the case in Buffalo, N.Y. -- that include several Sudanese who are being questioned. There is no evidence that any of these suspects had any kind of plot against the White House." The official was referring to the arrest last week of six western New York men accused of running a terrorist cell.
Citing unnamed intelligence sources, The Washington Times said the pilot was trained in Afghanistan and is linked to Osama bin Laden's al Qaida terrorist network.
White House press secretary Ari Fleischer, asked about the Times report, seemed to play down its credibility.
"There are a variety of threats -- some have more credibility, some have less -- I'm not in a position from this podium to give you any indications about anything that may deal with intelligence or potential threats. I'll just leave it at that," Fleischer said.
Spokesmen for the CIA and FBI declined to comment.
Officials believe the White House and the Capitol were potential targets on Sept. 11 when terrorists flew jetliners into New York's World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
Bin Laden was based in Sudan until 1996, when he was expelled from the country and moved his terrorist training operation to Afghanistan, where he was welcomed by the Taliban.
Al-Qaida reportedly is decentralizing its leadership, and as many as 60 cells are said to have the authority to conduct terror attacks.
Yeah, so we'll get you another copy of that memo, mmmmmmkay?
Good answer. Time they uncurse themselves.
From 50,000 feet.
This report is not complete without the following:
...but will not succeed as he will be subdued by freaking passengers and be beaten to death with fists, shoes and airline food dinner rolls. On the off chance he escapes the passengers, he will actually fly the plane into a substantial number of ground-to-air and air-to-air missiles and ultimately "fly" the plane into the ground somewhere in Southern Maryland.
I can picture this. I will be on an airliner next week (every day for work). You can rest assured that if any person of the Islamic persuasion is to do anything that would suggest terrorism, I will dismember him/her and feed him/her to him/herself. This includes taking actions that will transform a "him" into a "her".
