Isn't a man entitled to an opinion? While I may not agree with everything Pat Robertson says, I will defend his right to speak!

Attacking Islam theologically the way it was here is not very constructive (e.g., the "theft" of Jewish theology stuff, which I doubt Jews would appreciate either, and borrowing between religions is hardly limited to Islam, and so what?), but Fox is a mere conduit. The personalities that said what they said should be the object of the ire, not Fox. But attacking Fox gets more notice.

So which of Robertson's remarks in this story is anything but the truth?

Venomous and hate-filled remarks like those made by Robertson, and Sean Hannity's failure to challenge those remarks, poison the minds of ordinary viewers and can incite acts of violence against American Muslims," said CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad. You mean like using airplanes to kill 3,000 people at a time?
Clearly it is the hatred of radical Muslims that is behind the most horrific and evil acts we see these days.
Not "ordinary viewers" of Hannity and Colmes.

CAIR has a long way to go to redeem itself from its own history of supporting terrorist movements, and failing to address anti-semitism and calls for violence among moslems.

Sometimes the truth hurts...

Check the history. Robertson's facts about the militant Muhammad are accurate. He was not a peacefull prophet. This does not mean the all Muslems adhere to this belief, but it cannot be denied.
To: Stultis
Tough potatoes!! CAIR is biased against America! They're a bunch of terrorist sympathizer scumbags who need to be rounded up and deported to Greenland in the dead of winter.

What I wrote to Mr. Ailes.
Dear Mr. Ailes, I just wanted to write and thank you and your network for having the courage to provide fair and balanced coverage regarding various Islaminazi organizations. Your organization provides dissemination of facts that others are afraid to consider, and exposes truth that is sometimes hard for Islaminazi propaganda machines to recognize because they are devoted to a religous dogma that doesn't allow dissent or criticism of their faith. Keep up the good work! Fox News is my source for coverage of stories that others shy away from. A devoted news junkie, devoted to the truth.
Unfraid of the truth, I declare with a loud voice "the emporer has no clothes!"

Yo, CAIR, here comes the Waaaaaahmbulance!
To: Stultis
CAIR is right!!!! We should follow the example that the Arab/Muslim countries have set for religious tolerance and.. uh...er... um ... oh! Didn't they just publish an article about blood libel and the Jews or something like that? Oh and don't they persecute those who don't believe like they do, and even kill them. Oh, well it sure is nice of them to make the trip ALL the way over here to tell us that how we are intolerant
To: Stultis
"Anti-Muslim hate". Boo-freakin'-hoo.
They don't know what the word means. Yet.
To: Stultis
CAIR: "Mr. Ailes: This kind of conduct would never be tolerated in a nation that has bent to Allah's will, by accepting the Religion of Peace! Heads would roll!"

I appreciate FoxNews' coverage of Islam.
They have been fair and balanced. Furthermore if subscribers of that religion cannot withstand hard questions asked or obvious points being made about it's founders or current doctrine then perhaps it is they who need to take a second look and not the executives at the Fox Network.

I liked this little snippet:
ROBERTSON: Liberals always lie.
COLMES: Oh, please. Come on.
ROBERTSON: They always lie.
COLMES: Come on, that's not...
(END VIDEO CLIP)
COLMES: What -- Pat, what would Jesus say about that kind of a comment? Liberals always lie?
HANNITY: Amen.
COLMES: Jesus has spoken. Ladies and gentlemen, Jesus has spoken.
HANNITY: He'd say amen.
