And then what? If we had removed Sadaam in 91? The Shiites would have taken over and be a client state to Iran. The Sunnis and Kurds would fight in the North. We left Sadaam in power because we feared radical Islam from Iran. If we occupy Iraq be prepared for a long occupation and a slow but yearly supply of American dead for years due to terrorism and Guerilla activity.

Don't muddy the water by comparing Iraq to Afghanistan which has a long tradition of guerilla warfare. Iraq would be much easier to control, but that still doesn't make it the right thing to do.

I think your underestimating the economic capabilities of Iraq. Iraq is probably the most advanced nation in the region (other than Israel). I believe there will be little resistance if we have to send in our armed forces and if we are lucky, one of Saddams Generals will do his country a favor and execute that mad man and use the Iraqi Army to maintain peace as they construct a new Government with our help. I have Iraqi and Iranian customers who are very familiar with the situation over there and they tell me that their people over there are tired of Saddam and the Clerics that rule in Iran.

We CAN NOT sit back and wait for the next attack. These finatics have to be met head on and we must take the fight to them or we will see many more 9/11's. I also believe Iraq was involved in the Oklahoma Bombing and the attacks on 9/11. Saddam has been funding many of the Terroist organizations around the world. He sends $25,000.00 to the families of suicide bombers and proudly announces it.
