I wonder what the plan is to propogate this microbe. As I recall growing Mycoplasma is pretty difficult.

The local newscast from WLNS claimed that the vials (bacteria) need to be kept at -80F degrees or the bacteria would be destroyed...

This was the reporter stating this, so I can't vouch for the accuracy of this claim.

I would think the easiest way to propagate this disease would be in the natural host.

Many hog farms have hundreds or thousands of hogs raised in close proximity to each other.

A disease like this could easily be used by either Muslim terrorists or Animal Rights groups.
