I remember a time when McDonalds was known for having the best french fries. Now, they seem to be cold and hard within five minutes and stale after fifteen.

I go to MacDonalds at least twice a week for Breakfast. Doing it for years. My observations:

Service has deteriorated, employees appear confused.

Food still good but overpriced. Prices have gone up for some items more than 20% in a year or two. Coffee still better than Starbucks, though. Breakfast menu is decent, everything else ,with the exception of The MacFlurry is tasteless crap.

Background music in some places is hard rock or similar style, or played much too loud. I have walked out and gone to the Burger King across the street.

Interestingly, within the same neighborhood, there may be an outstanding place with good employees, attractive facilities and great mood.
