Ummm.
That all took place during the Clinton administration, you silly DU person.
Malaysia has about 23 Million, majority are Islamic and 27% are Chinese.
These two are more populous than Burma (40 M), Thailand (60 M), the Phillipines (82 M) and Vietnam (80 M) combined (263 M vs 260 M).
If Indonesia and Malaysia ever got going that way, towards radical Islam, it would be a big problem for SE Asia. That's my only point, particularly if an unholy alliance beteen radical Islam and the ChiComms ever kicked over. The rest of SE Asia would be sandwiched between them.
FRegards.
American and some of the more enlightened citizens in the non-Islamic world - are more than capable of throwing these crazy bastards back into history another 500 years...
They overreached, too soon --- and fatally exposed themselves as a murderous cult. They have encouraged their own destruction. - and we should accommodate.
