I am convinced (and think Eunice and her atty should have said this) that Eunice was reacting to their WORDS AND TONE--not their appearance. I sincerely think that if Eunice had heard someone who looked like Tim McVeigh saying the same things that she would have gotten his license number.

Words have meaning, especially in a post-9-11 world, and the public should be reminded of that.

What route are you taking from Atlanta to Tampa???

Tampa is only 450 miles from Atlanta--a 7 hour drive with a couple of stops along the way.

Why did they need two cars? Were they both rented? I thought I heard that at least one of the cars was rented. There were only three guys. And, if they are friends, wouldn't it make sense to drive together?

I have been personally slurred on FR by merely restating the facts of the case. The guys on Greta were good actors, and the rest of the media is making them out to be victims and Eunice a nut-case. However, facts are facts and they will hold up. The police know more than they are acknowledging--they always do. This is just part of the picture--and I think it is going to go back to connections with their hometowns in Michigan (Dearborn is heavily Muslim).

Eunice is no hick--nor is her son who was a witness to the whole thing. Her grammar is better than most newspeople and her nervousness was, if anything, a reflection of her humility and sincerity. Those arrogant "doctors" showed no respect and I would fear someone like the sister moving into my neighborhood.

And who knows what quality of medical education these jokers have been given...they certainly didn't have a notion of what the Hippocratic Oath implies.

Maybe there are some smart people in south Florida. Maybe the police said the three guys were innocent, let them go, monitored their phone calls, and now are looking for the pickup truck filled with explosives that the three men put there.

I would also be curious if these guys stopped at or bypassed any of the towns where the 911 hijackers trained or lived.

Does anyone know the time frame from when Eunice overheard then to when they were stopped? Did they drive straight through or was there enough time difference where they might have stopped somewhere? Possibly to drop off whatever was in the cars the dogs alerted to.

Their presence and training in Al Qaeda camps, coupled with their training to be doctors, is an interesting combo. Wouldn't this medical training be useful to Al Qaeda? I've not seen any reference to this anywhere so far. Am I a candidate for tinfoil?

You can't always drive it at 70 mph, especially at night when trucks are heavy in Florida. Often there are significant delays due to night-time construction or congestion, especially around Ocala and Gainesville and other congested or under-construction areas. His time is plausible, especially if they're driving at or slightly less than the legal speed, taking 15 minute breaks every 2-3 hours, stopping for leisurely meals. Although it doesn't usually take me 10 hours for the trip, it can sometimes take longer. All I'm saying is that his time line is not proof of anything, good or bad.

These 'boys' sure have cleaned up their act. The one with the 'long beard' is now nicely trimmed. And they couldn't be more polite, They don't have 'bad feelings' about anyone. Neither the police, troopers, hospital or Eunice Stone........everything is fair & square, to them.
Boy, have them had a major makeover.
