This makes sense, but, I'm surprised that we have not heard from any witnesses. I keep thinking that someone on the ground must have seen something.

Glad I am not the only one who thinks this! I beleive it was shot down. Gov't. is hiding this. Why? If that is the case, they are still heroes (passengers aboard).If this is the case, let people know. Every terrorist in the world would realise our resolve as to that they will never win, no matter what the costs. My heart goes out to the man/men that carried out that order. Imagine the pain they are living with....

A couple of weeks ago I saw an interview with Jere Longman, the reporter who wrote "Among the Heroes". He carefully researched the crash and said categorically that the pattern of distribution of the plane's wreckage was totally inconsistent with the plane being shot down and totally consistent with an intact plane crashing at extremely high speed.

Whoa, unum. How do you get "more likely" out of that. If Flt 93 was "shot down" then it had to be hit by a missile, bullet, or super-secret mega ray gun.

For that to be effective, it would MOST LIKELY have to physically deform the aircraft to make it un-airworthy. To do that would REQUIRE (because of Newton's laws, not federal laws) that any separated airplane components (engines, control surfaces, rivets, glass shards...) would be scattered throughout the area along the aircraft's last trajectory when they were "disconnected" from the airframe.

If these parts-is-parts are not found but in a 15 foot deep hole in a single field, then the aircraft must have gone into the ground intact, and not deformed previously.

That is: UNLESS the aircraft was indeed hit with a super-secret mega ray gun, which could be determined by interviewing military pilots to see if they were wearing any tin-foil helmets that day.
