Yes. It was in his pocket on 9/11, 2002, when he visited with families at the WTC site. I don't know if it's always with him -- like when he jogs. But the White House lets it be known that he keeps it close as a reminder.

Wow. A nice trip down memory lane. What an honor it was to meet all of you out there. Thanks Jeff and a big bump for the 93 memorial.

Dio. That picture. Should tear at the heart of all men and women who would pass down to their children the true meaning of sacrifice for their fellow countrymen and family. What a picture. Hope that young boy grows up to truly appreciate what his Daddy and others did, in true American spirit, for the good of others. I hope we, and he, understand and never forget.

Jeff, getting it done now involves more than just the use of the military and the local police. If this turns out to be a religious war, it's going to be up close and personal -- and your kids and my kids will be involved beyond a doubt. Our own country is already a part of the battleground and the terrorists have been inside the gates for a long time. Once this new balloon goes up, it will be a neighborhood thing -- city by city, nest upon nest.

I hope the crazies realize what they have done to the religion they have plagiarized and twisted to justify the slaying of innocents.

If I were Islam, I would be publicly dis-associating and purging the ranks of these thieves and murderers instead of wasting time complaining about being profiled. Do they fail to hear the sound of ancient swords being unsheathed? Is Islam a movement to rid the world of all non-Islams through its left hand of terror, as the extremists suggest? If not, I need to see solid, unmistakable, en masse evidence of that nationally and locally. Otherwise, I'll be putting rust-remover and metal polish on my shopping list.

Islam, 'If thy left hand offend thee, cut it off.' There is no question that it has offended me. I am removing the gauntlet from the hand that protects my life, my family, my beliefs, and my country.
