"People should be angry, not looking for peace," said Jeff Wright, a San Francisco resident who said he surfs for a living and screamed "Attack Iraq, you Girl Scouts" at nearby marchers. "They should be angry and want to go to war against America's enemies."
That could be any number of people on this forum.
I am Saddam's SAMs I say. Please, oh please keep those nasty American J-DAMs away.
Besides, this guy is on the right side, unlike these other wacos!
Ok, now to my main point. "Bush's war"? Excuse me idoits (refering to the morons in San Francisco, not the readers here!), but we were attacked! War was declared on us long before we responded to it. Had we had a real leader in office before Bush, we might not need to go into Iraq again. However, your boy Clinton was too busy in the oval office with Monica to worry about keeping the inspectors in Iraq and making sure they were able to do their jobs. Even so, it was a cat and mouse game; but at least having to move his facilities around to avoid inspectors slowed him down. Now he has had how many years to work on his weapons programs without restrictions? We know he has desired an A bomb for a long time, how far along is he? We know he has no problem using chemical weapons; he has before, even against his own people.
This man is dangerious and needs to be deposed. He funds terrorists, helps train them, and supports them. He recently had a former terrorist killed (ruled a suicide, AR style - multiple bullet wounds) for refusing to re-activate his terror network.
If this man gets an A bomb, or can manufacture a "dirty" bomb, does any sane person think he won't make it available to Al Quida?
Also, let's not forget that he trains skyjackers in his nation, using the body of a jet liner.
One question I have though. Does anyone do any real work in San Francisco? I work for a major LTL (less than load) trucking company. I have yet to see a shipment to that town. Is SF's version of "industry" nothing more than a collection of eco-wacos, "gay" activists, homeless "advocates" and gun banners? Does anyone in that town have a real job? Perhaps the surfer is the closest thing that town has to a real worker?

Perhaps,we should try stern language against terrorism?
I suppose they were holding up "We Hate Bush!" signs.
(Someone was going to say it sooner or later)
It is widely suspected / believed -- by such outfits as the Wall St. Journal -- that Timothy McVeigh had at least one Middle Eastern collaborator. There were several eye-witness accounts to that effect.
From there, it gets conjectural in a hurry. Do the dots connect up with Hussein or bin Laden?
I've never seen those dots connected in a credible way.
On the other hand, there is the possibility that they do connect.

Becker said Saturday's rally, which traveled throughout the city's civic center, is the first of a campaign of anti-war demonstrations, including one slated for Oct. 26 in San Francisco and Washington D.C.

Getting Freepers out to these events to counter Freep is like herding cats!
