Give me one GOOD reason why Eunice would make all of this up.

Look, I don't know if she had any good reasons. I just think there is more to the story here. My original post just said that if I was betting, I would bet that the man is telling the truth or a least the truth is somewhere in the middle.

In my lifetime, I have seen numerous people make false police reports, often when they are being enirely honest. Remeber a few months ago where the person opened a card on the airplane with paper confetti and the plan was immediately grounded because several hysterical passengers thought it was white powder? Mistakes happen all of the time, even more so when people arenervous.

I agree.

If I turned in a bunch a potential terrorists to the police, I would probably not be all over the TV screen like a Chucky-Schumer clone.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh, have YOU been brainwashed. You give far too much lassitude, to these guys. You don't know them amd you don't know the woman who called the police. Did you even bother to watch her, on T.V. tonight ?

Okay, let's, for the sake of arguement, say that there are three sides to the story : the men's, the woman's and THE TRUTH .

The men were uncooperative with the police, they blew through a token booth, there were traces of expolsives in one car, and they've now played the race card, claimed victimhood, and are calling Eunice a liar. What makes you think that the truth is on their side ?

The woman, heard something said by these three men. They must have been talking loudly enough, for her to have heard it. What they said made her uncomfortable enough to call the police and take down a lisence plate number. She has NOT been paid a dime. She has been on T.V., though. The Presidident asked EVERYONE to be on alert and turn in any suspicious people. We just had the 1 year anniversary of 9/11. A " sleeper cell " has been uncovered and men arrested. Muslim whack jobs, all over the world, are calling for our heads on a platter. Yeah, Eunice just hates Muslims, for no reason , and made a cramk call. NOT !

The truth is, you haven't enough sense to be even a little wary of a suspicious situation. I wouldn't want you anywhere near me, in the face of a posssible problem. You'd be too busy trying to explain it away. This isn't anything at all like the confetti incident. This government put Japanese people in camps, when we were fighting WW II. The people of this country, during WW I ( a war we fought on the wrong side of; but, that's another story ) refused to buy products, made in America, by Americans, that even had the name of a product, that was even remotely related to any of the nations we were not allies of. Ever hear of " Danish " pastry ? It isn't from Demark ! It's a Hungarian pastry, called delkeral. Changing the name, was the ONLY way, that bakeries could sell it, during and after WW I !

I think this could be better compared to someone opening an envelope on a plane and saying "Do you think we've got enough in here to make everyone ill?"

Then his seatmate says "If we don't have enough, I have contacts to get more."

That was on a United flight, and I flew one of their flights the next day. The captain mentioned it after we got off the ground and stated that what the media reported was inaccurate. He said the guy actually held the card up to one of the air fans above the seats.

Can't really trust the media to get it right all the time.
