GOP: MIAMI-DADE IN COUNTYWIDE RECOUNT - BROWARD SHOULD BE NEXT
TALLAHASSEE - Miami-Dade elections officials began a countywide recount at 1:00 p.m. today, due to yesterday's review of just four precincts, which revealed over 1,800 votes that had not been counted.
Given the massive and well-documented problems in Broward County, which utilized the same new electronic voting machines as in Miami-Dade, the Broward County Supervisor of Elections should IMMEDIATELY begin a recount of all their precincts, machines and tabulators, to make certain every legal vote is counted. Based on a troubling recent report that three voting machines were found THIS MORNING still at a polling place in Fort Lauderdale, the only prudent action is a full recount in Broward.
The Republican Party of Florida demands an immediate recount in Broward - forming an election oversight board is not enough - only by counting every legal vote in this election can amends begin to be made to the betrayed voters in Broward County.

Very savvy move on the part of the FL Republicans. I'm not sure I agree. Why are the Repblicans getting involved at all? It only makes us look like we're trying to effect the outcome of their primary. I know we would rather run against Reno, but we can't help her win, that only helps McBride.

Loose wires might be considered to be chad.
If someone rests his mouse on the entry, is the entry dimpled?

Excellent, The sheeple are awakening....
Now the Republicans should pick up Renos cause, and point out the corrupt election officials, trying to steal an election from that poor woman that campaigns through Parkinsons.....

Deja Dade, Broward, and Floriduh again and again!
When did GW and Dick Cheney know about this? It has to be their fault?
To: Lazamataz
Yes, yes, we must count EVERY vote. If the voter rested his mouse cursor on top of Reno's name for even two seconds, it should be considered a vote :o)

Advice from Florida GOP to Dems:
"Let the Wookie win!"

Nah, when your enemies start to shoot each other. You just get back to safety and send in ammo so they don't run out.

"Let the Wookie win!" Classic!

Tampa Dems - including the supervisor of elections - tried to imemdiately criticize JB for extending voting hours saying that it caused more problems than it fixed. These are Dems who are in the McBride camp and wanted a low turnout in So FL. Amazing that even when the problem is so obvious - even Reno hersalf faced issues - that some Dems are still putting their own political ambitions ahead of the common good.
The Miami political machine is faltering - a good many of the old school Dems that ran the show were put out to pasture following their failed hijacking in 2000 - many of the poll workers and activists down there are new to the game and were not up to even the simple orgnizational and administrative tasks of running a precinct.

SEND JE$$E IN TO MAKE SURE EVERY VOTE IS COUNTED!
Two months of Je$$e down there should really screwup the Rats in Dade/Broward/Floriduh!
To: Lazamataz
Gore was never truly close -- those counties just 'manufactured' enough votes to throw the election into a contest.Bingo!
To: hobbes1
That means my code would not compile.
Therefore, Janet Reno WUZ robbed.....!!!

If the Republicans ask for a recount, it removes any claims by Democrats that the GOP is at fault or is trying to manipulate the election. On top of that, a recount may very well expose election fraud by these Democrat controlled counties.
