I only said if true because only one paper posted this. Nothing has been verified and this could be a fabrication of sorts.
Grated a 20% chance, but a chance.
Like I said, if this is a true story though, time to fine and perhaps suspend this paper. Throw the law if possible at them
This is a time of war and this would be a breach of security.

This was reported in two british papers a couple of nights ago... here on freerepublic. I think I saw A_Turk on the thread.

Not if our military leaders encouraged them to publish the information -- which very well may be the case.

Actually, there have been a few published reports since at least early Agusut that American, British and Turkish troops and special forces are already operating in Iraq. I remember one from around six weeks ago that said the war in Iraq was already underway. In fact, some columnists have argued, with considerable justification, that the 1991 war in Iraq never really ended. In any case, the administration seems to be using a similar plan in Iraq that it used in Afghanistan.

This isn't news. What it is, is the mainstream media beginning to catch up to what other media have been reporting for the better part of a month.
A Turkish paper, Al-Hurriyet(?), reported that Spec Ops was in Northern Iraq about two weeks ago. Along with 8,000 Turkish troops and some chopper units...
Asia Online figured it out for themselves, as well, reporting that the War on Iraq "has already begun".
The US mainstream press has been too busy fabricating reasons not to go to Iraq to conclude the obvious: we already have.
