But the Colts play in Indy. Should the stadium to be named after him be connected to the city or the team? The stadium in the town where he played and the town where he was and is loved should be where he is honored. What in the hell does Indy have in connection with Unitas?

In Detroit we have the Joe Louis Arena, just simply known as "the Joe". It would be a nice memorial to Johnny Unitas and certainly a reminder to everyone that there was a time when money wasn't everything. There were things like loyalty, commitment, personal integrity and perseverance. Things we don't see much of anymore today because you can't put a dollar sign on them. Something the purveyors of greed will never understand.
